Two tips for diabetics diets

Eliminate ALL Trans Fat From Your Diet and Your Family’s Diet Immediately

All people should do this. Never the less, if you have diabetes, pre-diabetes, or you’re at risk for diabetes, it’s absolutely critical that you do this as soon as possible and be strict about it. There is no “safe” level of trans fat. Even a little can do serious harm to your cell membranes. Do not let cost sway you or anything else prevent you from the important mission of eliminating it from your diet. Your life and your quality of life depends on it.

Make Sure You and Your Family Eat Foods That Contain Good Quantities of Omega-3 Fatty Acids

The vast majority of modern Americans don’t get enough omega-3 fatty acids. Our hunter and gatherer ancestors got lots of omega-3 when they ate wild game, insects, fish, seafood, and wild greens. Before the 1920′s Americans got a decent amount of omega-3. Flax oil and fish oils were very popular then. Never the less, in the 1920′s hydrogenated oils largely replaced these omega-3 rich oils. People also eat less fish today. Farmed fish today contain less omega-3 than wild fish and the eggs and meat from chickens that aren’t allowed to forage for insects and greens don’t contain as much omega-3.

You must make sure you provide your body with plenty of omega-3. Fish, beef, seafood, algae, walnuts, flax seed oil, fish oil, and walnut oil are very high in omega-3. Chicken, turkey, and pork don’t have as much but do have some. Wild game such as deer and elk have a good amount of omega-3. Greens such as mustard greens, spinach, and kale also have omega-3 in decent quantity but not enough to depend on that as your main source. If you cannot get enough omega-3 from food, which of course is always the best way, you can add a fish oil or algae supplement.

You CAN reverse diabetes by eating the right foods and other natural means. I’m living proof of this and so are many other people who were diagnosed with diabetes but now have normal blood sugar levels. My doctor could hardly believe the difference in my blood sugar readings after only a few weeks.
